Abstract

This research aims to develop crossword-based LKPD on multiplication material that is valid, practical and effective to help students in the learning process and improve problem solving skills. This research is Research & Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE approach, which consists of the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The research instrument uses validation sheets, questionnaires and tests. The research results of the crossword-based LKPD that were developed were valid with a validity percentage of 2.7 with the validity criteria of the learning tools and included in the valid or good category, and media expert validation showed a validity percentage of 2.5 with the validity criteria for the learning tools and included in the good or valid category. Apart from that, the LKPD was declared practical as seen from the achievement of teacher response sheets with an average of 91.6% and student responses with an average of 90%. This LKPD was also declared effective due to the achievement of an N-Gain (g) score of 0.79 in the high category. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that the crossword-based LKPD that has been developed is feasible, practical and effective for use in learning.
