Abstract
This study aims to analyze the significant influence of teachers' professional competence and learning facilities on the performance of vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Tanggamus Regency, both partially and simultaneously. The study is based on three main theories: the theory of teacher performance, which explains the factors affecting the effective accomplishment of teachers' duties and responsibilities; the theory of professional competence, which highlights teachers' abilities and expertise in performing their professional roles according to established standards; and the theory of learning facilities, which examines the impact of educational infrastructure and resources on the quality of teaching and learning outcomes. A quantitative method with a survey approach was used, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 191 respondents, who were vocational high school teachers, to collect data on teacher performance, professional competence, and learning facilities. The analysis results show that both professional competence and learning facilities, either individually or simultaneously, significantly influence the performance of vocational high school teachers in Tanggamus Regency, with a combined contribution of 49.2% to the teacher performance variable. Collaboration between local governments and schools is essential to organize comprehensive training to enhance teachers' professional competence, including training on the development of scientific thinking strategies, the implementation of Classroom Action Research (CAR), and the use of interactive platforms to improve learning effectiveness. This research plays a role in uncovering the significant impact of teachers' professional competence and learning facilities on the performance of vocational high school teachers in Tanggamus Regency, providing empirical contributions to efforts to improve the quality of education in the region.
