Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of the cooperative integrated reading and copositin (CIRC) learning model on reading comprehension skills in VB MIS YPI Batang Kuis class students. The type of research used is qualititive research using the pre-Experimental design method whit one group pretest- posttest design. The resuls of the reseach show that: (1) there are differences in the reading comprehension skill of the group using the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model with the group using the direct learning model; (2) the cooperative integrated reading and compositin (CIRC) learning model influences students reading comprehension skills; (3) the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model improves students reading comprehension skills. Based on several things taht have been explained, it the show that the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model can be an alternative in learning at the elementary school student level, especially to improve students reading comprehension skills.
