Abstract

In this modern era, the need for understanding and practicing the Al-Qur'an and Hadith is increasingly urgent, especially in the context of Islamic education. However, the phenomenon shows that although many people memorize the Qur'an, memorization of the Hadith is still given little attention. Therefore, this article describes a research that aims to present Tahfidzul Hadith learning as a superior subject at the At-Taqwa Kalisat Superior Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. By using a qualitative approach and case studies, this research reveals the planning, implementation and evaluation of Tahfidzul Hadith learning. The research results show that Tahfidzul Hadith learning is directed at introducing, memorizing and practicing Hadith to students as early as possible. This program not only aims to produce Hadith memorizers, but also to form students who have a deep understanding of Islamic teachings based on Hadith. The learning methods used include talaqqi, ice breaking, video viewing, and assessment through written exams and deposit exams. This research is novel in the context of Hadith learning at the elementary level, where previously many studies focused more on Hadith memorization methods alone. However, this research presents Tahfidzul Hadith as a formal subject that students must follow, using several learning methods adapted to student characteristics. Through this program, it is hoped that a young generation can be created that masters and practices Islamic teachings based on its two main sources, the Al-Qur'an and Hadith.
