Abstract
This research aims to investigate and analyze the implementation of school information systems as an effort to improve services and administrative performance at MIS Yasmida. MIS Yasmida, as a developing educational institution, faces challenges in managing school administration efficiently and effectively. In an effort to improve administrative processes, school information systems are considered as a potential solution. The research method used in this research is a case study, with data collection carried out through interviews, observation and related literature studies. SWOT analysis is used to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to the implementation of school information systems. The research results show that the implementation of the school information system at MIS Yasmida has the potential to provide significant benefits. Strong management support, skilled human resources, and adequate IT infrastructure are the determining factors for successful implementation. However, challenges such as budget constraints, lack of training for staff, and resistance to change were also identified. Emerging opportunities include increased operational efficiency, improved customer service, and development of additional features in the system. However, it is necessary to be alert to threats such as technological uncertainty and external competition from other schools. With a deep understanding of these factors, schools can develop appropriate strategies for implementing information systems that can significantly improve services and administrative performance. It is hoped that this research can make a significant contribution to efforts to increase the effectiveness of school administration in the current digital era.
