Abstract
As educators, teachers need the skills to determine appropriate strategies in students' writing activities, because each learning strategy is different in the teaching process. Writing is a creative activity that allows students to develop their creative potential. The aim of this research is to identify the influence of creative writing strategies on students' writing abilities at SD IT An-Najah. This research applies quantitative methods with a Quasi Experimental design, especially the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. In this case it involves two classes, namely: the experimental class and the control class, each given the same pretest. The experimental class was given treatment (strategy), and the control class was not. At the end of the research, both classes were given the same posttest. The results of the comparative test through the Paired Sample T-test reveal that there are significant differences between student learning outcomes in the pretest and posttest data through creative writing learning strategies.
