Abstract

This research aims to deeply analyze and describe the implementation of the Principal's role as Manager, Leader, Supervisor, and Entrepreneur in the execution of Deep Learning in State Elementary Schools throughout the Bangkunat Sub-district, as well as strategies for overcoming constraints. The main challenge in this rural context is the gap between the demands of Deep Learning innovation and the limitations in facilities, human resources, and conceptual understanding in the field. This study employed a qualitative, descriptive case study approach, gathering data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews at four State Elementary Schools. The findings indicate that the Principal's role has been implemented effectively and adaptively. As a Manager, the principals conducted participatory planning and allocated resources efficiently, utilizing School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds and local potential. As a Leader, they served as transformational and inspirational role models. As a Supervisor, they performed routine academic supervision and provided constructive feedback. Various constraints were addressed through continuous training, leveraging personal devices, and collaborative, contextual solutions. Overall, the transformative and adaptive leadership of the school principals is key to the successful implementation of Deep Learning amidst the limitations of the rural environment.
