Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of academic supervision in elementary schools in Pagelaran District in encouraging learning innovation in the Merdeka Curriculum. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects include school principals, teachers and supervisors who are directly involved in academic supervision. The research results show that academic supervision is carried out through observation, providing feedback, and mentoring. This process has been proven to increase teacher creativity in developing project-based learning methods, group discussions, and the use of educational technology. Supporting factors for supervision include the availability of adequate facilities, supportive policies, and collaboration between teachers and supervisors. However, there are obstacles such as limited time, resistance to change, and limited resources that hinder the effectiveness of supervision. However, effective academic supervision has a positive impact on teacher motivation and self-confidence, as well as creating more interesting learning for students. This research emphasizes the importance of efficient time management, increasing supervision capacity, and resource support to ensure the sustainability of learning innovation. It is hoped that the results of this research can serve as a guide for policy makers and educational practitioners in improving the quality of academic supervision in the Independent Curriculum era.
