Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in shaping students' character at SD Negeri 1 Sidorejo, Tanggamus Regency. The Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility in learning management, allowing schools to instill Pancasila Student Profile values through various strategies. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings indicate that in the planning stage, the school has designed character-based learning programs through intracurricular, co-curricular (Pancasila Student Profile Projects/P5), extracurricular activities, and school habit-building culture. However, challenges persist regarding human resource readiness and limited facilities. During implementation, project-based learning is applied to engage students in activities that strengthen character traits such as cooperation, independence, and empathy. Challenges include diverse student characteristics and limited technology access. In the evaluation stage, the school uses observations, project portfolios, and feedback from teachers and parents, showing improvements in students' character but requiring a more comprehensive assessment system. This study highlights that successful character formation through the Merdeka Curriculum requires collaboration among schools, teachers, parents, and the community to create a conducive and sustainable learning environment.
