Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Reading Corner Program in improving the reading literacy of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri students in Tanggamus Regency. Reading literacy is a crucial aspect of education, and the Reading Corner Program is considered an innovative approach with the potential to enhance students' reading skills. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The research sample was randomly selected from students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri in Tanggamus Regency. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Reading Corner Program has a positive impact on students' reading literacy, including changes in reading behavior and increased reading interest. The evaluation was conducted using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model, covering students’ needs analysis, resource adequacy, program implementation effectiveness, and its impact on reading literacy. Supporting and inhibiting factors were also identified to provide a more comprehensive overview. The results of this study contribute to the development of reading literacy learning strategies and recommend strengthening and expanding the Reading Corner Program as an effective means to improve students' literacy.
