Abstract
The problem in this research is the low science learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by LKPD on science learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative research using a quasi-experiment method with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was 59 students with samples taken using non-probability sampling techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out using multiple choice tests, observation, interviews and documentation. The first hypothesis test was to see the effect using a simple linear regression test, then the t-test was used to see any differences, and the N-Gain test was used to see an increase in science learning outcomes. The results of this research show that there is an influence on the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by LKPD on science learning outcomes and there are differences in science learning outcomes between the experimental group and the control group for class V students at SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur
