Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning tools in improving the quality of learning process standards at the secondary education level. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Padang and SMA PGRI Talang Padang which have adopted the Independent Curriculum, emphasizing the importance of planned, integrated, and student-oriented learning tools. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out descriptively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions and was validated by triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study show that the implementation of learning tools has been carried out systematically and has made a real contribution to improving the quality of the learning process. The teaching modules and LKPD have been arranged according to learning outcomes, although they still need to be strengthened in contextualization and technological integration. The use of digital learning media has been proven to increase student participation, while active and collaborative learning methods encourage more optimal engagement. In addition, assessments are starting to evolve towards authenticity that comprehensively assesses learning processes and outcomes. This study confirms that the improvement of learning quality is influenced by the synergy between teaching materials, media, methods, technology, and assessments that are managed in a sustainable manner.
