Abstract
This study aims to develop a deep learning-based instructional video and examine its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students’ problem-solving skills in elementary science (IPAS) learning. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method consisting of needs analysis, design, development, expert validation, practicality testing, and effectiveness testing. The participants were sixth-grade students of SD Negeri Karang Satria 04. Research instruments included expert validation sheets for content, media, and language, student response questionnaires, and pretest–posttest problem-solving assessments. The validation results indicated that the developed video was highly feasible. Student responses showed a very high level of practicality. Effectiveness testing revealed an improvement in students’ problem-solving skills with an N-Gain value of 0.68, categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that the deep learning-based instructional video is effective for use in elementary IPAS learning.
